GSCA eBlast September 15, 2017

Grassland Gives

Grassland Gives is our largest fundraiser of the year. The generosity of our GES families is one of the reasons our school is so special. We are hoping to have 100% participation for our Grassland Gives campaign this year.

With your help, we believe we can do it! There is a suggested donation of $125 per child, however any amount is appreciated and will help us reach our goal of 100% participation! And remember...your donation is tax deductible for income tax purposes!

We are very grateful for all the families who have already given. If you haven't made your donation and would like to, IT ISN'T TOO LATE!

On Friday, September 22, we will announce the class with the highest percent of participation. They will receive a popsicle party to celebrate!

Parents in PE

Join your child in PE class from September 25 - 29! Please find your child's grade and homeroom teacher on the schedule here. Remember to dress accordingly so you can bring your best game of Aerobic Bowling!

Eagle's Nest

Eagle Expectations is our Positive Behavior Support Plan of BE (Responsible), SHOW (Respect) and DO (Your Best). Your child is collecting Eagle Feathers for expected behaviors to redeem in the Eagle's Nest. Each class will shop once during September 18 - 22.

Each child may purchase 1 item per trip to the Nest. Feathers may be redeemed only in the school year they are earned.

Room Parents, please look for an email from Ms. Landa with your class shopping day and time, and arrange 1-2 parent volunteers to help your class shop and re-stock prizes for the next class. Thank you!

Bus Driver Appreciation

Bus driver appreciation breakfast is Tuesday, October 3! GSCA will be hosting a breakfast in the cafeteria for our fabulous drivers and staff that make transporting our children safely their priority.

Have your bus rider make a card, draw picture or write a letter to your bus driver. Turn it to the school office by Monday, October 2. Please include your bus driver's name on the card. We will be sure that they receive them at their special breakfast.
